The Los Angeles Lunar Society was last evening hosted at the Beatrice Inn by punk folk musician and DJ extraordinaire Mike Fellows (who will also be playing with Neil Michael Hagerty's terrific rock outfit Howling Hex in New York City this weekend.)
Beginning at the stroke of midnight and continuing until we were ejected from the premises in the wee small hours near daybreak, we communed with some of the more unsavory spirits who have ever ectoplasmed out of whiskey glass or ouija board.
Photographs of our secret society are forbidden, plus we have a policy of no full frontal nude photography of males on the Staircase (sometimes we do anyway, when the person in question is both way famous, underage, and passed out in public) so our snaps from last night are being suppressed by Wit's editor, Theresa Duncan, also known as the Pied Piper of the decks who led this lad and many of his coevals to this condition of deshabille.
And so concluded our one night only guest DJ gig at the Beatrice Inn, children of the Staircase: smartly, wonderfully, and of course--sordidly.
Monday nights in the Village with Mike are where it's at!

How all that youth and hot color gives us hope, HOPE!!
