You might expect one of these roofs to hold, but neither the Guggenheim nor St. Mark's church did. That's old New York for you. It's so hard to find good help these days, mes amis.....
If any of Wit's spooky readers would like to hear the beatnik beat of the pitter patter of each little drop falling, just remember it's all on tape, with names and ranks and serial numbers for each little raindrop. But we'll have to track down all the copies--all one hundred beatnicky not-so-limited editions that are now available all around the world.
Thanks a million to all who contributed to the leaks at St. Mark's Church On The Bowery and the facade repair and for helping to preserve so very much more beauty!!
Jesus wants little Wit for a sunbeam it seems. Even as the dirty rain is still coming down.
